The object will be to find all the specified sculptures, take photos of them, and then finish the course in the least amount of time. There will be prizes. Larry Johnson Gallery Wednesday, May 19
6:00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm - Meet at Gallery
Hello ECC Members,
I spoke with Larry Johnson recently and confirmed the field trip to his gallery on May 19th.
The gallery, Windows to the West, is located in the new Streets of SouthGlen shopping area in Centennial (near S. University and Arapahoe).
Larry is a landscape photographer and is excited to meet with club members and talk with us about photography. I'm proposing the following:
6:00 pm
This Sundays snowshoe trip will start at 9:30 am from the Echo Lake parking lot at Mt. Evans. I was there this morning and the trail is snowpacked. The distance to the bristlecone pines is about 4 miles, with most, if not all the distance on the snowpacked trail. Please respond to me if you are going so you are not left behind. Bring food and snacks. Temperatures should be in the 30's for the hike. (bvogel@montaukservices.com)
We’re planning a field trip to Breckenridge to see the beautiful snow sculptures downtown. This trip is slated for Sunday, Jan. 31st, which is the day the awards will be given out. If you’re interested, please RSVP directly to Bill Vogel, trip leader, at bvogel@montaukservices.com.
On Sunday 1/24, we’ll travel to Winter Park to the Sled Dog Races! We’ll meet at Evergreen’s Buchanan Rec Center at 7:45. We’ll figure out carpools when we get there.
We’ll plan on getting to Winter Park a little before 10 a.m. and spend a few hours with the dogs. Then, we’ll plan to head back a little ahead of the ski traffic, probably around 2 p.m.
Please RSVP with your name, a cell phone number.

Due to the popularity of this trip last year we are doing a repeat. Join us for an exciting opportunity to view and photograph BIGHORN SHEEP during breeding season, commonly known as the rut. We will again visit Colorado Sheep Unit S-32, AKA the 'Georgetown Herd', very accessible in areas along US-6, I-70, and US-40.
We'll meet at the Evergreen Cemetery at 4 pm and then cruise over to a haunted yard on Brook Forest Road. From there we'll wander over to the home of Edie & Pete Marks for a light dinner. Please RSVP ASAP to Edie: pecmarks@mac. com
